“Wow, you’ve outdone yourself, Scorpius. You’ve actually taken me to a place less romantic than our last date,” Rose Granger-Weasley looked around at the filthy tunnel under the bridge.
“You haven’t seen the surprise yet,” said Scorpius Malfoy.
“I don’t think I want to,” said Rose warily.
“Look!” Scorpius pointed to a yellow rose growing out of the dirt.
“That’s impossible…how can a rose grow in this dark?”
“I used magic to plant it, but that’s not the point,” said Scorpius. “Every dark place deserves a rose as a reminder that life is beautiful. Thank you for being mine, Rose.”
