Hmm, it seems I’ll have to make this weekly catch up a regular thing—less posts to bombard you guys with!
To refresh our memories:
Onwards to the music!
Day 8: A Song About Drugs or Alcohol
Beautiful Trauma, by Pink. Here, Pink compares love to a drug, and as beautiful as love is, it can also be one of the strongest addictions out there.
Day 9: A Song That Makes You Happy
Gotta Catch ‘Em All, aka the Pokemon Theme Song, sung by Jason Paige. This song transports me to a time when life was more innocent and my biggest concern was waiting for my Charmander to eventually reach its final evolution to a Charizard. Some fans may think Charizard is overrated, but I’ve always loved him!
Day 10: A Song That Makes You Sad
I’ll Never Love Again, by Lady Gaga. A powerful and absolutely heart-wrenching song performed to perfection by Lady Gaga in the movie, “A Star Is Born”.
Day 11: A Song You Never Get Tired Of
Say You Love Me Too, by Nicholas Teo. One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite Chinese singers (who also happens to be Malaysian!). English translations are available online if you’re curious.
Day 12: A Song From Your Preteen Years
…Baby One More Time, by Britney Spears. My preteen years were the 90’s and when I think of the 90’s, two artists immediately come to mind: Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys. I chose a song by Britney Spears since her album has the distinction of being the first album I asked for (and received!) as a kid.
Day 13: A Song You Like From The 70’s
Dancing Queen, by ABBA. This song is timeless! (This song was released in 1976.)
Day 14: A Song You’d Love To Be Played At Your Wedding
Perfect, by Ed Sheeran. Cliche? Perhaps, but what can I say? I love this song.
Day 15: A Song You Like That’s A Cover By Another Artist
Mistletoe, by Joseph Vincent. Keeping with the holiday theme!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
