A pink-haired fairy
Bursting with glitter flutters
Past my path today.
She stops a moment
To eat and drink with a friend
And we talk all day.
Our laughter rings loud
Through concrete and skyscrapers
As the sun sinks low.
We say our goodbyes
For the last time of our lives,
How could we have known?
Wherever you are,
I hope there is glitter, my
Pink-haired fairy friend.

Written in remembrance of a friend who passed two years ago, too young and with too many dreams left unfulfilled. Thinking of her today.
Has almost an Irish feeling, with the way it felt magical and yet the relationship ended so quickly.
