[Flash Fiction] The Hole In The Ground

The ground grumbled and shook the skinny trees cluttering the yard. Under one of these skinny trees was a hole, gradually enlarging as if an invisible person was digging it. [Harry Potter Fanfic] How Nearly Headless Nick Really Died (Part 2)

“We’re going to lose our heads for this,” the cloaked wizard whispered to his companion as the two sneaked through the Forbidden Forest behind Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

“Do lighten up, Nick, it’s just a harmless prank.”

“Stealing the school coat of arms is not what I would call a harmless prank!” Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington hissed back, momentarily dropping the Hogwarts emblem he was levitating in midair.

[Poetry] The Song That Brings Death

The first note gave way to the first scream.

The bows pulled against the cellos
As the knives pulled out of the bodies.
The chorus rose and fell,
As the corpses thudded one by one.
The drums hung in the air,
As foul as the stench of the massacred.

The last note faded, but they would never forget.
